I pride myself on being something of a jack-of-all-trades; I couldn’t decide on one area to study, so I landed on majoring in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology with minors in computer science and English. After finishing undergrad, I spent two years serving as a college adviser working with low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students and families through the college application process. Seeing firsthand how difficult this can be due to technological issues drove me to pivot towards UX, with the hopes of combining my interests in advocacy, creativity, and analysis to make more inclusive designs.
I graduated of the Master of Human-Computer Interaction program at Carnegie Mellon University, and have been pursuing a career as a user experience researcher and designer to help drive human-centered products and services.
My passions outside of UX research and design include borrowing too many library books at once, memorizing entire Broadway cast recordings, (mostly winning) trivia nights with my friends, and bothering people to help me improve my Fantasy Football team.
